Problem-Solving Assessments We assess students 6 times per year - 3 times with these assessments and 3 times with the leveled skills assessments. These assessments are designed to assess students' abilities to reason and problem solve. Obviously also very good for literacy! Gap analyses differ for each term. I don't bother giving these to students as they would not be useful for revision.

Inspire Maths is now fully embedded across the school, with all year groups from 1 to 6 following this scheme of work. There is one book for each year group. Students will develop problem solving techniques and use activities to develop understanding. Our students are taught maths on a 5 year. Students in year 11 will be set homework weekly in a combination of Hegarty Maths and practice maths exam papers. Students in years 7-10 are assessed formally, internally, three times during the academic year. These students also complete in class unit.
